    Hi NoNo,
Beach Bum Daddy is correct, if you chose to go back to Windows 7 Home Premium, you would need to back up all your data to an external hard drive and do a reinstall of Home Premium. Ultimate is the same OS, just with increased features…I am guessing will want to stick with it! However here is a resource to help you decide between which between version suits your needs: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windo…
Best of luck with your decision!

You should check out the features in Ultimate first.
If you are a home user you will probably find there is not much extra in it that you’ll use.

You cannot downgrade, you will have to reinstall the Home Premium version.

You may have not intended to do so, but I feel you’ve got managed to express the state of mind that a lot of folks are in. The sense of wanting to assist, but not knowing how or where, is something a lot of us are going through.
